Why changing the way we work is important to me + a little how
Socrates said, "Let him who would move the world, first move himself."
Whether you're a CEO, an entrepreneur, or a middle manager, tuning into yourself – uncovering what’s standing in your way – is the most powerful move you can make. It’s not only the biggest antidote to the patriarchy and a society driven by consumption, but the fastest way to make aligned choices in every area of life - including business.
Last week in a session with a client she captured my work in a way I never have been able to.
She shared:
"You're not just a business coach, I've had those in real estate.
You're also kind of like a therapist, but I know you're not that either. (I am not, and I’m trained to know the difference to best support clients)
And you have a spiritual knowing and tools to help get to the root of things.
Each of the above only took me so far, because I know now you need to uncover the subconscious stuff to truly thrive – so with you, I get all of the above!"
The little girl in me that loved MacGyver wants to ask – am I the Swiss Army knife of business and life coaches?
But honestly, it’s true. The most lasting changes come from the inner work – uncovering the subconscious, shifting it, aligning with spiritual practices, and empowering your nervous system for an abundant, regenerative life and work.
Her words inspired me to share my story for anyone curious about why this work is so important to me.
When we are anchored in our highest self-worth, we trust ourselves to make decisions in service of our dreams. This doesn't mean life won’t have its challenges, but it does mean we have the tools and support to navigate them.
